This Orange adidas AE 2 is Arriving Right on Time for All-Star Weekend

NBA All-Star voters made one of the toughest decisions in recent memory this month, handing the final spot on the Western Conference All-Star team starters roster to 37-year-old Steph Curry instead of Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards. The two guards are both having incredible seasons, but for Edwards, the second string will have to do this year. No matter when he steps on the court, Ant is expected to be wearing a fresh new colorway of his adidas AE 2 signature shoe. As for Steph, well, every hour is a new question mark about his shoe choices.

The adidas AE 2 All-Star first popped up on our radar in May of last year, but now, with All-Star weekend right around the corner, we’ve finally got a look at the official images of the shoe in adult sizes, showing off the bright orange and silver mix. Starting with a full coat of bright orange in the same shade as the WNBA logo covering the entire upper, the stabilization panels stretching up the side panels and curving up from the heel are done in metallic silver for a pop of shine.

This is Edwards’ fourth All-Star Game appearance, cementing the T-Wolves guard as one of the league’s brightest stars. Still, despite his high-flying in-game dunks, Edwards has consistently rejected the opportunity to compete in the All-Star Weekend Dunk Contest, much to all of our dismay.
