All Terrain, All Weather: adidas Toughens Up The Adizero Evo SL with ATR Pack

Run where the road takes you. The high-performance, low-cost answer to the genre-defining adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 and Evo 2, the Adizero Evo SL keeps the high-stacked foam cushion shape but makes it accessible to the masses, at a much more reasonable price point than the Adios Pro Evo line. Leaning into the success of the takedown even more, adidas is back with a new and toughened-up version, this time ready for whatever the elements throw at a runner.

The adidas Adizero Evo SL ATR collection is an all-terrain remake of the lightweight runner, adding a lug-equipped Continental rubber sole underneath the stack of Lightstrike Pro foam. The upper is done in a water-repellent ripstop fabric with textured rubber on both sides of the toe for even more rugged additions. The retooling comes together with hiking-style laces and thick pull tabs on the heel and top of the tongue.

Debuting in four colorways, a tan and black mix, a blacked out colorway with silver Three Stripes branding, a fully beige pair, and a blended, gradient tan and black mix that starts with tan on the top and gives way to a black midsole underneath. Branding is added with the same large Three Stripes on the side panels, a Lightstrike Pro logo on the midsole, and an Adizero hit on the tongue stabilizer. The ATR pairs add a “Water Repellent” logo on the medial toe as well.

The adidas Adizero Evo SL ATR collection doesn’t have a firm release date yet, but it will be available soon through adidas and select retailers in-store and online.
