Originally slated for a release in early 2023, the now-titled adidas 350 V2 “Grey” gets an in-hand look.
Even though sneakerheads can agree that the adidas Yeezy 350 V2 was on a downward trend near the end of the adidas Yeezy deal, the general population would still eat up every release of the iconic silhouette. Over its history, it transitioned from one of the most hyped-up and limited releases to having dozens of colorways and millions of pairs flood the market every year. Now that adidas has full reigns over the designs used during the partnership with Ye, we’re set to receive solely adidas-branded 350 V2 colorways and a release that was originally developed for an early 2023 drop - the adidas 350 V2 “Space Grey" - has just appeared.
Similar to the previously released adidas Yeezy 350 V2 “Tail Light,” the sneaker comes in a monochromatic grey shade across its primeknit upper and rubber sole unit. The same Primeknit pattern used on releases like the “Zyon” and “Bone” colorways is utilized as the lateral side stripe comes in a semi-translucent TPU material matching the rest of the upper and a thinner segment of knit is present on the medial midfoot. A fan favorite, the iconic pull tab on the heel is present and continues this monochromatic look as does the lace set, sockliner, and insole. Speaking of the insole, these early photos showcase “Yeezy” branding printed on the insert though if these do hit shelves expect the packaging and insole to just feature Three Stripes logos. Underfoot, the ridged rubber midsole and outsole come in a non-transparent finish and encase a full-length Boost cushioning system.
The adidas 350 V2 Space Grey is set to release in 2023 through adidas Confirmed and select Three Stripes retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $230.
