Action Bronson’s Baklava label has become a force in the collab sneaker game. Taking on the same multi-season, multi-shoe approach perfected by fashion brands like Kith and Wales Bonner, Bronson’s New Balance partnership has covered classic lifestyle runners like the 992, new versions like the 990v6, and tech runners like the FuelCell Rebel v4. Now, Bronson is taking on an all-new silhouette, adding his Baklava aesthetic to the New Balance 1890.

Originally, we saw the New Balance 1890 as a hybrid moccasin, with a Wallabee-style toe, reptile skin upper, and sporty 2002R-style tooling on the midsole. On the Baklava pair, though, early previews show a more traditional mesh and suede makeup on the upper, with a series of teardrop-shaped, almost paisley-style panels and no moccasin toe.

So far, we’ve only got a few in-hand previews of the Action Bronson x New Balance 1890. The toe panel and tear-drop outlines extending onto the sides are done in grey leather with khaki tan mesh underneath, and extending to the entire side panels. The “N” side logo gets a navy blue hit, with a darker tan support panel behind it. The heel adds a bright hit of golden yellow that is also added to the top eyelets. The midsole has another hit of yellow in the middle, and a seafoam green mesh is added onto the tongue. Baklava branding is placed on the tongue label and insole.

The Action Bronson x New Balance 1890 will be released Spring 2026 through New Balance and select retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is still TBD. For all the latest Baklava sneaker news, make sure to download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
