Action Bronson Posted a New New Balance 1890 Colorway and Then Immediately Deleted the Picture
PublishedQuick Facts
- Thankfully, we got a screenshot of the pair before it was taken down
- Seen only from a lateral side view, the pair features a base of gold mesh with a soft grey suede on the tear-drop shaped toe paneling, orange on the heel panel, olive green on the midsole, and a two-tone black and minty green pair of laces
- The New Balance 1890 colorway has a barely recognizable BAKLAVA logo on the tongue, so whether it's a personal sample, PE, or upcoming release, the pair was clearly made for Bronson

Action Bronson’s BAKLAVA New Balance collab isn’t going anywhere. After helping the brand debut the 1890 silhouette and giving us early previews of the all-new 2811 model sitting courtside at Knicks games, the Queens rapper is getting ready for MSG playoffs with a picture of a never-before-seen 1890 that appeared on Instagram and then quickly disappeared.
The new Action Bronson x New Balance 1890 colorway made its brief appearance on IG as part of a carousel that Baklava posted Friday morning, showing himself cutting a tree with a chainsaw, sitting courtside with Patrick Ewing, driving through backwoods, and checking out a BMW engine. Another photo in the initial post showed a single 1890 sitting on the floor, but that photo has since been deleted.
