The Oklahoma freshman star is leading the Sooner squad into the third round of the tournament, where they await the winner of tonight’s USC-South Carolina showdown. In anticipation of the next round, Chavez is tapping into a mix of her Mexican heritage and Kobe Bryant’s Mamba Mentality with a perfect PE.

Originally from Texas, Chavez has always been vocal about the importance of her Mexican heritage and family in her path to hoops stardom and a spot on the Nike NIL squad. In addition to the Mexico flag PE, Chavez debuted a Kobe 9 PE colorway based on The Lab, the Texas training facility and program run by her father.
