If you want to learn about New York City fashion, the RZA is a pretty good teacher. The head of the Wu-Tang Clan’s Voltron had a whole section of his Wu-Tang Manual about how he crafted Wu-Wear and set in stone the benefits of insanely baggy pants that still holds up for today’s youth. Now, RZA is teaming up with another NYC legend to teach a lesson about the Big Apple’s most iconic pair of boots.

“The A to Z of Timberland is a visual dictionary that literally wrote itself; a reflection of communities past and present who have adopted our brand and shaped it to what it is today,” says Maisie Willoughby, Chief Marketing Officer for Timberland. “This campaign is a celebration of the rich tapestry of cultural movements that have transformed Timberland from a footwear brand into a shared universal language. It’s an ever-evolving archive, co-created with our communities.”
