James Whitner and his Whitaker Group continue their collaboration with Jordan Brand.
Becoming one of the sneaker scene's best collaborators, James Whitner’s boutique, A Ma Maniére, has generated buzz with every sneaker they get a chance to work on, already working on the Air Jordan 1 through 3. As the rumor mill was buzzing about a possible Air Jordan 12 collaboration, Whitner made an appearance on the Complex Sneakers Podcast to showcase one of the two colorways of the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 12.
Coming to us in a stealthy all-black and crisp all-white, the silhouette gets accented by the color of choice for A Ma Maniére as of late, burgundy crush. Across the entire upper, premium nubuck runs back from the toebox to the heel, accented by a burgundy-shaded nappy suede overlay with snakeskin leather leading to the Jumpman text around the midfoot. Running up the nubuck tongue is a set of black wax laces, housed within two metallic eyestays near the collar. Back on the heel, a nylon pull tab in black runs down the heel with Jordan branding embroidered atop. Underfoot, the AJ 12 midsole on the black pair gets covered in a shade of brown while an all-white on the white pair is completed by a matching rubber outsole with silver Jumpman branding present on the toe.
Both colorways of the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 12 Retro W are rumored to release on November 17th, 2022 through A Ma Maniére, Nike, and select retailers online and in-store. For the black colorway, the pair will come in women’s, PS, and TD sizing while the white pair will only release in women’s sizing. Women's pairs will retail for $225.
