We’re all used to NBA athletes jet-setting across Asia and Europe for world tours in the months leading up to the start of a new season, so too do WNBA stars. Well, you’re probably used to seeing them lace up for an international squad, but A’ja Wilson is going a different route in her visit to the European continent, as she’ll be stopping in four cities as part of her first tour as a Nike Basketball signature athlete.
Beginning in early March, Wilson will be hitting the road across Europe, including Paris, London, Berlin, and Hilversum, Netherlands, to inspire the next generation of athletes and bring her energy and attitude to a new set of fans. Oh, and of course show gratitude to her loyal European supporters.

Each stop on the tour features programming like basketball clinics and community conversations, so expect to see plenty of clips of A’ja interacting with fans in the four cities. All of this comes on the heels of Wilson slyly teasing us with her next signature model, the Nike A’Two, via an Instagram post where she photoshopped her feet out of every photo.
A’ja launched her first signature sneaker, the Nike A’One, last year, prior to the start of the WNBA season, and it’s been a smash hit. Initial colorways sold out, and over the last year, it’s become one of the most-worn sneakers in the WNBA. Like fellow Nike women’s basketball athlete Sabrina Ionescu, her model has also been a fixture on the NBA floor.
Expect to see the reigning WNBA MVP, WNBA champion, defensive player of the year, and scoring champion (quite the impressive accolade list for a single season), to kick off her European tour on March 2 and end on March 8. As of now, the exact schedule hasn’t been announced, but as soon as we know more info we’ll keep you posted via the Sole Retriever mobile app.
