Although Saucony has a long history of collaborations in the footwear world, the heritage running brand has now only reached mainstream status amongst sneakerheads. The brand’s projects with the likes of Jae Tips and now Westside Gunn have made this untapped segment of the market aware of what Saucony has to offer, but there's always room for more partners. Following up on an inaugural collaboration last summer, NYC-based menswear brand 3sixteen just teased a brand-new project with Saucony.
The teaser video posted to 3sixteen’s Instagram account mimics the opening graphic of an ‘80s television series, with flashy linear patterns, echoing synths, and a green-tinted effect used on the co-branded 3sixteen x Saucony logo that appears once the animation is complete. Outside of the video itself, the caption of the post teases the silhouette of choice, the Saucony ProGrid Guide 7. Well… the caption states it's the Guide v7.3, though this isn’t a sneaker offered by the brand. Perhaps the two are working on a special version of the ProGrid Guide 7 for this project.
Previously, 3sixteen was tapped by Saucony to work on the Peregrine 15 sneaker in 2025, which launched in a natural undyed colorway. Prior to the global launch of this undyed pair, 3sixteen dropped limited quantities of dyed versions of the sneaker, including an indigo, grey, and purple pair.
Expect 3sixteen and Saucony to unveil their ProGrid Triumph 7 project in full in the coming days. Once more information is available, we’ll be sure to keep you updated here on the blog and via the Sole Retriever mobile app.
