Crocs Shoes
Crocs was founded by Lyndon "Duke" Hanson, and George Boedecker Jr. in 2002. It was created to produce and distribute a foam clog, a design that was acquired from a company called Foam Creations, based in Quebec City, Canada.
The Crocs Classic Clog, originally designed as a boating shoe, made its debut at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. Limited to 200 pairs, it was an instant sell out and has gone on to sell over 300 million units to date. Since then it has become a cult classic and everyday footwear staple. They feature a lightweight and roomy designed upper, which is water-friendly and buoyant. Ports at the toe box and perforations provide ventilated breathability. Its wipe-away clean design is supported by Croslite foam cushioning for all-day comfort and a movable back heel strap for added lockdown. Crocs has become a casual mainstay for all types, recently crossing over to fashion with the support of high profile celebrity endorsements from Justin Bieber, Post Malone, KFC and more.
