Initially released in the 1970s, The Nike Blazer is a classic silhouette that has been popular since its inception. It was first introduced as a basketball shoe and was quickly adopted by skaters and fashion enthusiasts alike. Since then, it has become a staple in the sneaker world and has been reimagined in various colorways and collaborations. For its latest makeover, the Nike Blazer Mid 77 gets a “Split” colorway similar to the recently seen Air Trainer 1, Dunk Low, and AF1 under the same design banner.
Nike dresses the Blazer Mid 77 "Split" in a tumbled leather and suede upper, with grey suede on the toebox, midfoot, and heel. The Swoosh logo on the midfoot is split between black and white as you work back from the lateral to medial sides. The tongue is sail-colored and hosts a set of white laces and a split-branded Nike tag featuring a retro and modern design. The green TPU eyelets add a pop of color to the primarily white tumbled leather sneaker, with the sockliner and heel tab nearby coming in black. The shoe is finished with a split grey and white rubber midsole and outsole.
The Nike Blazer Mid 77 Split Chlorophyll will be released July 15through Nike and select retailers online and in-store, with a retail price of $110 in men’s sizing.
