Even though the Air Huarache's 30th birthday was last year, that hasn't stopped Nike from bringing back the Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouette in full force. After checking out the "Khaki Phantom" and "Mica Green" earlier this week and taking our first look at the Nike Air Huarache "Anthracite Picante Red" right now, it goes without saying that the '90s icon will be making a massive comeback in 2023. In fact, our sources also tell us that Kobe Bryant's rare Nike Air Flight Huarache "Lakers Away" will also be releasing to the public for the first time very soon, so it's clear that something big is being planned as we speak.
Painted in various shades of grey throughout, this Air Huarache boasts the classic neoprene construction and is overlaid with leather across the toebox and sidewalls. The legendary Air Huarache symbol adorns the tongue in a red hot hue, and this sizzling palette extends towards the insole branding. Elsewhere, the Air midsole underfoot has been dipped in a seriously stealthy black, tying the colorway perfectly together.
The Nike Air Huarache Anthracite Picante Red is set to release in Spring 2023 in men's sizes for $125. Expected to drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store retailers, you don't want to miss out on this, so make sure you follow us on Twitter and download our officialMobile App to find out everything that you need to know.
